2020 - current
As a part of the Gender Cluster in the United Nations Development Programme (LAC), I am responsible for (among other things) designing and implementing big data-based tools to support governments in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of inclusive care and social protection policies. A good example of this is the Care Georeferencing Tool, which helps build territory-level diagnoses of care supply and demand, as well as spot accessibility barriers for vulnerable population.
Researcher - CIEDUR
2016 - 2021
As a part of the Gender and Development Department, I conducted research on gender issues, economic and social development, women’s economic autonomy, public policy, labor markets and social inequality, through quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Explore some of our publications in the link above.
Lecturer/Research Assistant - UCU
2018 - 2021
During 2020-2021 I was the lecturer in charge of the Sociology undergrad course ‘Family, Gender and Generations’ in the Catholic University of Uruguay (UCU). Before that, I worked as a RA in Urban Studies and Gender and Mobility projects. Check my highlighted publication in the link.
Coordinator - Data and Macrodata - UBA
2021
I worked as Data and Macrodata coordinator in a Political Science research group in the University of Buenos Aires. The group studied the role of government information in guaranteeing access to women’s rights. I led a group of students that focused on improving methodologies to gather data on gender identity.
